ANGLO-SAXON WARRIORS

Well I have been busy painting up the last of my Anglo-Saxon warriors that I needed to finish off my Saga force I had started about 2 years ago.

The army has grown Since my last update, now it has
Alfred Hero, Anglo-Saxon Lord, Anglo-Dane Lord (with Axe)
A unit of Hearthguard, 3x Warrior units and 3x Levy units and also those pesky Monks as well, and a Bard to tell my Saga stories.

So some photos then

with Hearthguard behind them with the Monks left... and the lonely Bard

So thats the Anglo-Saxons / Anglo-Danes all done. Onto my next project ......

Would that next project be your Bolt action Fins?
Looks good Mate I have to get another Army up and running to give me a few options.

My Wargaming / Painting & Boardgames Blog

I have been painting miniatures since I was about 12 years , beginning with Tamiya 1:35 tanks and aircraft's. Then progressed to wargaming when I was in my mid 20's starting with Warhammer 40K and then moved into Mordhiem followed by 5th Edition Warhammer Fantasy, then spent a long time playing Flames of War games.

Now days I mostly just play 28mm Skirmish type games like Saga, Bolt Action and Congo.

My Saga 'Viking age' armies include a large Anglo-Saxon force (that also act as a Anglo-Danish Force) I also have a Rus Princes Force, Moors and now getting into the Roman age era.

I have a USA fleet for "Trafalgar", which is a Naval wargame set in the early 1800's, which with our interest in sailing, is a fun game of rated Ship of the Line's and Frigates battling each other.

Been Board-gaming for a number of years now .

Have started to gain a large collection of board games now, mostly have 2-player games like Twilight Struggle. I find 2 player board games very addictive especially when playing with the likes of my brother, always a good fun game is found even when losing :-)
